However there are are precedents for non lawyers to appear in court as assistants to your own case, sometimes referred to under the term as McKenzie Friends in the uk. and under article 6 your entitled to be represented by the legal council you want, though they will not be allowed to speak without leave of the court and sometimes their are issues with this, as britians not very good at equality. notwithstanding that - you can do better then me. As you only have to look inter alia here for that.
