Former Nurse: Deacon Of Death on Trial for Murder
Catholic Deacon Accused Of Killing more Then 10
Ivo Poppe Former Nurse On Trial As "Le Diacre de la Mort"

Average Rating: 0 out of 10

the Guardian Article Wednesday 24th January says:

A former nurse and Roman Catholic deacon accused of killing at least 10 people at a clinic in Belgium was stressed out by personal difficulties including renovations on his house, investigators have told his trial.

Ivo Poppe, 61, who has been dubbed the “Deacon of Death” by Belgian media, confessed on the first day of his trial to killing up to 20 people beginning more than 20 years ago.

Poppe either gave his mostly elderly victims at the clinic in Menin, near the French border, the tranquilliser valium or injected air into their veins to cause a fatal embolism.

they say Poppe told investigators that his victims also included his own mother, his step-father and two uncles.

Article also quotes him as saying “I wanted to end their suffering, these people weren’t really living any more.”

The married father-of-three expressed regret for the way he carried out the killings. “If it was now, I would call a palliative care team,” he said. Belgium legalised euthanasia for adults in 2002.

They say The investigators examined 65 suspicious deaths but “we don’t have any idea of the number” of his victims, the investigator added. Poppe worked at the clinic in the 1980s and 1990s but continued to act as a pastoral visitor until 2011 after he was ordained as a deacon.

Article says investigatory team looked into 65 suspicious deaths and that they don't have any idea of the number of his victims.

He was first it says he was arrested in 2014 after authorities were told that he had confided in his psychiatrist that he had “euthanised dozens of people”.

They say Poppe explained the context of his comments to the psychiatrist, whom he consulted on the advice of his wife.

“I wanted someone to help me with my nightmares, I really needed therapy. That’s why I talked about dozens of cases, it was deliberately exaggerated,” Poppe told the court on Monday.

The trial is scheduled to last two weeks. Poppe faces life in jail if convicted.

iflscience say when quoting the same guardian article that "an air embolism, also called a gas embolism, is a rare but potentially fatal condition. It happens when one or more air bubbles enter the vascular system through a vein (venous) or artery (arterial), causing a blockage. These bubbles can travel to the brain, heart, or lungs and result in a stroke, heart attack, or respiratory failure respectively."

BBC article dated 22nd Januray 2018 say His mother had reportedly been suffering from depression - and that her doctors have denied that she would have chosen to be euthanised.

disambiguation, the deacon of death label has been used before as I saw at least one reference to another person such as samual smithers, First Baptist Church in Plant City, in Florida, that killed prostitutes so be careful when looking up names of Deacon of death, or things like angel od death as it does appear that people try to obscure names and or information with that method at times.

Daily Mail article dated 23rd January 2018 by a Julian Robinson, says with the inquiry having established a list of at least 50 suspect deaths based on notes in his diary, which included a count of fatalities at the clinic.

that Daily Mail (at least at time I read it) says The trial is set to last two weeks and include testimony from dozens of witnesses, relatives, psychiatrists and officials from the diocese, and says the trial is taking place in bruges.

Daily Mail article (at least time I read it) also says that Cardinal Jozef De Kesel, the head of the diocese at the time of the killings and now the most senior Church figure in Belgium, said in 2014 that he was 'stunned' by the allegations and pledged the full cooperation of the Roman Catholic authorities.

Catholic News Agency in their article quote the bbc article and say "Before he became a deacon, Poppe was a nurse and worked for 20 years at a clinic in the town of Menin and say the decons mother who is one of the people he is on trial for killing was 89.

this clip on youtube, gave date 22nd January as when the hearing was:

and another clip posted later in that week which i watched before referenced monday which is the same date as the 22nd. IF you can extract any more facts out of the foreign language vid let me know. (as I think the number 80 was reference in there, was that witnesses, deaths or something else?)

dw article dated 22nd January 2018 say The trial is set to last two weeks, with some 80 witnesses, relatives, psychiatrists and officials from the diocese to give their testimony.

and what is this reference to a belgium king? in article?

wikipeida says Wevelgem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Gullegem, Moorsele and Wevelgem proper. On January 1, 2006, Wevelgem had a total population of 31,020. The total area is 38.76 km² which gives a population density of 800 inhabitants per km²." articlea dated 22 january 2018 says "Ivo Poppe a commencé à travailler comme infirmier en 1978 dans une clinique de Menin, dans la région de Courtrai" says "cour d’assises de bruges" which is criminal court as I try to workout to see if i can find a reference to the actual court.

can anyone find anything on a court system? as certainly isn't a help, though i note their are clips inside court in some news articles looked at. article reveals the name bart meganck in
"Le président de la cour d'assises de Flandre occidentale Bart Meganck a entamé lundi après-midi l'interrogatoire d'Ivo Poppe"

Unfortunately i appear to have unearthed a balrog on delving deeper which did explain the injections image i saw before I started researching more as their is mention of court case of parents who refused to vaccinate children in a 2008 article before bart meganck being fined €5500 (£4100; $8000) and sentenced to five months in prison as they didn't show up in court according to that article

as i reflect on pointing the willow brook stuff out again and other cases of human experimentation by doctors and government in general, and american rulings around letting parents choose.

Meanwhile i'm going to cut and paste these here, while I stall for time:

medical experimentation list, which i haven't kept up to date, plutonium files? quakers oats, what was the american supreme court case reference on autism? acres of skin book? and all that other research I forgot to write up, nook mark at the time, look everyone knows the queens is guilty og genocide, wether it be canada, suppression of psychics using that s word, or torture in iraq, afghanistan, kenya, cyprus, ireland inter alia so I think that 08 case ruling was insane.

Talk about sloppy at this end

sciencemag April 27th 2017 article comments on a £3.6 billion payout over vaccination victims from the vaccine court since its first case in 1988 saying "any vaccine can cause and occurs 1.3 times per million vaccinations; intussusception, an intestinal blockage that occurs in between one and five of every 100,000 infants vaccinated against rotavirus; and brachial neuritis (also called Parsonage-Turner syndrome), a painful inflammation of the nerves supplying the hand and arm, which afflicts up to 10 of every million tetanus vaccinees."

that article says "Where the evidence shows that a vaccine did serious or fatal damage, as with a 4-year-old girl who died of anaphylaxis the day after receiving several childhood vaccines, the court awards substantial damages. Her parents received the maximum death benefit under the law: $250,000."

and huffington post 2009 article mentions 4,900 cases in vacine court citing autism, citing "that mercury-containing vaccines were the cause of her autism" and a blog entry with a court statement from the UNITED STATES COURT OF FEDERAL CLAIMS dated 9th November 2007.

does anyone speak dutch? article 24th jan 2018. as seem to be having articles covering the various days of the case, or more article then just one on the case.

I think one of hte articles which seems to be behind a pay wall, references a book 'Terreur In De Zorg' meaning 'terror In the care ' by Dutch journalist Carel Wiemers of cases such as the daecons, though couldn't find it in the uk amazon web search.

euthanasia is a worry given known abuses of medical system, but msn article says "In 2014 it extended the right to children so long as they are conscious and capable of making rational decisions." msn says that the majority of killings took place before the 2008 euthanasia law they enacted.

guardian 13th feb 2014 article article says that vote was 86-44 vote in the House of Representatives. this link says minimum age is 12 years (for Netherlands?) as I reflect on how many people got murdered in years gone by. T 4 wards, concentration camps, or lobotomy Rosemary Kennedy and other cases of murder by the system.

this article worryingly says "Under the law there is no age limit to minors who can seek a lethal injection." and also says 86-44 was the vote. newsweek article lists Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands as those allowing euthanasia by a second person.

that ncbi article dated Feb 16 2008 said
"“It would be better for them to come back to me and appear,” Judge Meganck said. This would allow the parents to explain their motivation for refusing the vaccinations and to have this information in official court documents for potential appeal to a higher court. But he noted that Belgian law allows exceptions only if parents can prove that the child might have adverse health reactions to the polio< vaccine." so I am curious what happened to that case, did they pay a fine? as thoose science article said their was a chance of death.

As rereading that article all I can see is that Bart Meganck of the Court of First Instance in the Flemish city of Dendermonde, said the jail was suspended, as they convicted on basis of police reports. and article says since 1960s vaccination against polio has been compulsory in Belgium for all infants before they reach 18 months old. but the article with that story in is dated 2008 but surely any likelyhood of death with a vacination however small would fulfill the "But he noted that Belgian law allows exceptions only if parents can prove that the child might have adverse health reactions to the polio vaccine." clause thus rendering them innocent, and if any fined was payed, them innocent?

sciencemag article by By Meredith Wadman Apr. 27, 2017 , "between one and five of every 100,000 infants" surely if thats true for death then that fulfills criteria for might as specified in that 2008 judge Bart Meganck statement as quoted in the ncbi article where its says "exceptions only if parents can prove that the child might have adverse health reactions"?

Actually on rereading it the paragraph in sciencemag article says "a life-threatening allergic reaction that almost any vaccine can cause and occurs 1.3 times per million vaccinations; intussusception, an intestinal blockage that occurs in between one and five of every 100,000 infants vaccinated against rotavirus; and brachial neuritis (also called Parsonage-Turner syndrome), a painful inflammation of the nerves supplying the hand and arm, which afflicts up to 10 of every million tetanus vaccines." so i'm presuming i'd have to look at polio specifically, so that argument potentially falls down.

Unless I see what happened if anything with that Belgium law in the interim. Thus rendering me phoning anyone up potentially obsolete currently as I'd have look at polio vaccine stats. however that being said I think freewill and consent override those who try to vaccinate others to save their own scrawny necks, which undoubtedly results in a path to war, and results in genocide, human experimentation, torture to shut people up for political belief, large sets of population being rendered sterile in ethnic cleansing land grabs inter alia (though kids and consent is a dodgy debate at 18 months old.)

Then again saying :

"In 1935 two teams tested a polio vaccine but neither were successful and both teams infected and killed some test subjects (the scientists, chimpanzees, human adults, and children). In 1951, Jonas Salk, MD, and his team developed a method to cultivate polio virus in monkey kidney tissue in order to be able to produce large amounts of the vaccine. On Apr. 12, 1955 the results of the Salk vaccine trials showed the vaccine was 80-90% effective and the US government licensed the IPV (inactivated polio vaccine) vaccine the same day. The vaccination program was suspended on May 8, 1955 to investigate paralysis resulting from the vaccine injection; changes to the production method were made and vaccination resumed on May 27, 1955."

Does not appear to be an auspicious start, as far as far as vaccines go, especially if vaccines are never 100% effective anyway, and assuming your not killed, or injected by one of those nurse serial killers with something else, ala the selenium horse race deaths.

oh vactruth Article dated April 28, 2011 by Catherine J. Frompovich said in that article "The Belgium court at Tournai recently ruled in favor of individual human rights when it rescinded Belgium’s long-time mandatory polio vaccination law. " under the notion that people more likely to get it were via vaccinations or something, however then that 2011 article goes on to say that while the Patient Rights Law of August 22, 2002 prevailed, the government were appealing that tournai ruling at the time.

vactruth Article also said "Apparently, nvCJD, a new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease [mad cow disease], was suspected as being connected to the polio vaccine in five males in Southampton, UK. Notices went out to the medical profession and the polio vaccine was withdrawn"
